(Technical) Customer Success Manager (f/m/d)

Autonoma develops a digital Customer Platform (DCP) for machine and plant manufacturers to enable data-driven service revenues, digital business models, and an excellent customer experience. Our platform connects machine data, cloud applications, mobile interfaces, and digital / AI services, enabling OEMs to efficiently digitize their machines, after-sales processes, and customer interactions.

As a (Technical) Customer Success Manager, you support our customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle after the sales handover — from onboarding and rollout to sustainable adoption and continuous development. You are the central interface between customers, Product, Sales, and technical teams, ensuring that our customers achieve measurable added value with Autonoma.

Your responsibilities

  • You take over and develop customer relationships after the handover from the Sales team and guide customers through onboarding, rollout, adoption, and expansion.
  • You become a trusted advisor for machine and plant manufacturers in using the Autonoma platform to improve customer experience, after-sales operations, and data-driven service offerings.
  • You support our customers in implementing use cases around digital after-sales processes, machine analysis, digital service packages, and connected machine data.
  • You actively drive platform adoption through hands-on training sessions, workshops, maintenance of the Help Center, enablement, and regular business reviews.
  • You understand our customers’ goals, technical frameworks, and operational challenges, and translate them into structured success plans.
  • You work closely with Product, Development, and Sales to effectively incorporate customer feedback and identify growth potential at an early stage.
  • You identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities together with the Revenue team.

What you should bring

  • Experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, consulting or solution consulting, project management, after sales, or a comparable customer-facing role in SaaS, industrial software, or machinery-related environments.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate confidently with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Interest in industrial digitalization, OEM business models, machine data, and digital service processes.
  • A structured and reliable way of working — from gathering requirements to successful implementation.
Very strong communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in parallel.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
  • Very good German and English language skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with IIoT platforms, connected machines, remote service, industrial analytics, or digital after-sales solutions.
  • Experience onboarding mid-market or enterprise customers in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Industry knowledge in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, recycling, process industries, or related industrial sectors.

What to expect

  • The opportunity to actively shape Customer Success in a growing technology company with a highly relevant industrial product.
  • A key role at the intersection of customer experience, technology, and revenue growth.
  • Close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Sales in a lean and efficient organization.
  • A very flexible working model and an open culture focused on learning, ownership, and practical impact.
  • Modern tools, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to actively shape the digitalization of customer processes in industry.
